Tell us your love story
One of our best friends paired us up. And what can I say - it was love at first sight. Simon's beautiful and gentle eyes got me right away. We had to go through very tough times at the beginning of our relationship but it led to the strong bond we have now.
We just know whatever happens we are each others pillar of strength and we grown together over the years supporting each other whatever path we chose.
I opened up my own business in 2020. My jewellery brand Kristina Elise offers modern designs in gold, platinum and silver and designing our wedding rings was very special to me.

Why did you choose Rowley Hesselballe?
I was looking for something modern yet classy and chick for our wedding day. I love jumpsuits and when I saw the REINAA I fell in love right away.
What did you love about our REINAA jumpsuit?
Elegant yet powerful and sexy.
Why did you decided to get married where you did? Is it a micro wedding?
I was born in Heidelberg. I moved to Cologne in 2009 where I met Simon and where we now live together. But Heidelberg still has my heart. It is a beautiful and idyllic city. The river Neckar flows amongst the hills with the Old Castle overlooking the scenery. We wanted an urban wedding and walking through the old streets of Heidelberg with our family and friends was just perfect.
Unfortunately, due to Covid, only 10 people were allowed at the registry office. But this way it was very intimate and Simon and I we just focused on each other. Just the two of us. And our friends were the best! They waited outside with balloons and flowers and had prepared drinks on the famous Old Bridge. The weather was nice and sunny and we could enjoy this special day amongst family and friends.
We had lunch at Europäischer Hof. It´s a beautiful hotel in Heidelberg and it is a family tradition to celebrate there. My grandmother used to go there with her parents from when she was 5 years old, which is now over 90 years ago. This and all the moments we spent there together make it a very special place for us.
